Any numbers you plug into an NPV formula will yield a result. Use these numbers for what they are worth. If every number selected, whether by you, Yorkton, WSP, me or MRDI, turns out to be true, and if they remain true for 30 yrs, then yes. If they find a pipe, these numbers are meaningless. If they find the remaining samples are nothing more than mud, the numbers are again meaningless. When you get down to it, although useful, we can attach very little confidence to the result. If we were to make the model stochastic, you would end up with something like accurate to within +1000% -93%, once in 100.
