Hi LOD,

Re: I am convinced that MMs have an overwhelming amount of control over the prices of stocks.

How can you be convinced without evidence?

I will readily admit that the market makers have faster access to trades, and therefore can watch the trend and perhaps make a quick flip for a few bucks, but I don't really see how they can manipulate a stock (unless it's thinly traded).

Can you explain how MMs would've held the price to <$55? And also, they were able to hold it under $60 -- how?

These are not rhetorical questions. If anyone out there knows how stocks might be manipulated, let's answer this (or bury it).

Cheers,
KenB
