O Dear God - <<OT>> Someone here knows PROFS? Arggghhh - we're all doomed! <vbg>

re: Manuals - my biggest complaint with this era's software is the lack of decent documentation. I had almost every IBM manual I needed in my office, so I tend to compare today's slap-together "documentation" against that massive and thorough library.

Shouldn't it tell us something when the number of books about a software package outweighs the product's manual by a ratio of a thousand to one?

Eric,

I have used sendmail command sets (painful) and I also used PINE. But not for too long. Now I simply POP3 to the mail server on the rare occasion that I check it. We a now mostly a Notes client and our weird and wonderful other mail systems are directed to Notes (even PROFS).
