Hi Diana,

No, I couldn't find it in print; I only heard one mention on CNBC. I did read something a week or two ago about Venezuela most likely announcing production increases after the elections, no matter which side wins, so in that light June '99 wouldn't be that bad.

I don't know if they're jaw-boning (if, in fact, they did make the statement), but it would be interesting if they were pulling a Greenspan -- sucking in the shorts for the kill shot announcement that they are cutting production (but I don't think so).

The only meeting I know of is the OPEC meeting in late November.
