Wren; Check my response to Marc Ultra. I don't have the best feel for a good actively managed small cap fund at this time. Bob's look good. I have been purchasing individual small caps stocks on the cheap.

Re: "Small Cap Mutual Funds... " morningstar.net Some funds that popped yesterday - half dozen were small cap. Not necessarily recommending any. Just some to look in to.. Also, for reference only, some leading (YTD) mutual funds: bloomberg.com And again, USATODAY.com (money page- click on muitual funds) has a good MF database. Some small caps (leaders YTD): 167.8.29.47 I noticed that Pin Oak Aggressive Stock Fund popped yestarday, and also has a good YTD percentage. Click on the stock symbol. Then click on on the
