October 31st (I think). That means that the company should wait to begin the buyback until november to save the buying power for those of us willing to stick around for a while. A point the company needs to explore.

There are strange issues in a buyback. things like they can't buy back more than 25% of the previous 20 day average trading volume in a given day. they can't move the bid, they can't buy in the last half hour of trading.

fortunately, aspt has been pretty liquid lately so those restrictions shouldn't be an issue.

yes, on the conference call the company stated that they require customer names before a sale. Still the norstan information is pretty reliable and no one has explained the mediocre results.

I also would NEVER take it on faith that everything the management says is true.
