The good humor and great info here continue to amaze me... Thank you all for your valued input. One thing is for sure, you don't spend 10M and buy 5% of a company without a good reason or without a vote of board members. Creative Labs has first-hand knowledge of 3dfx's roadmap and I would consider this one big insider buy and a key indicator of good things for the immediate future. I find it much more likely that Diamond is merging with Nvidia than with 3dfx. It seems obvious that 3dfx and Diamond have a hard time getting along so I don't know how it's possible that they could even hammer out a deal without killing each other. Sun, I agree with your assesment of ATI. That's like a dream made in heaven. I would immediately double down on such an announcement. (I would buy ATI shares not 3dfx, because if the deal fell through 3dfx would drop not ATI.) One thing is for sure this baby looks like it's in play. Pat "laughing my ass off" Grinsell
