Yahoo corrected 43%, America Online 50%, Amazon 56%, Inktomi 41%, Dell 41%, Cisco 41%. Those are huge declines.

The typical mutual fund lost around 30%, and at one point or another most of the stocks it owned declined 50% or more.

Not yet. I guess someone in a coma didn't feel pain either, but I assure you there are investors in even these issues that got whipsawed or wiped out. I know some personally.

You're focusing on this summer. Most of the damage in the broad market started way back in July, 1997.

amzn is making a nasty case for a nasty uptrend.if your short you
better have deep pockets.i for 1 dont want to see any losebig to a
