Pullin-GS, Ecellent trade on CIEN. I was out @ 9 last week and never rentered. Having to go into the office cost me dearly last week as I missed a lot, especially in the OSX patch and CIEN. Don't like to stick around without being able to monitor closely with this volatility. Rashid, Timing is everything. I bot EGGS last Fri in expectations of a little earnings runup and good strength in the general market. It retested prior days 5 1/4 low twice and decided to hold over weekend looking for a good opening today. This morning EGGS charged out of the gate and never looked back. My brokers website (Brown) was down and the phones took forever to get through. When I finally got through to them this morning I had to protect my profit and sell without knowing it would continue to run that strong. If the website was working I would have set some stops and had an order ready to go, but I couldn't so I missed most of the move. Still it was 7/8 on a 4k share play for one day, too much to pass up without being able to protect without worry. Mark, NEM had a lot of volatility today. Made my buy after seeing your post and caught it on the downturn. I would have stopped out @ 21 1/2, but got lucky and it came back strong. When 50k block was taken out @22 on the ask, I thought it may come back to test your prior entry level of 22 3/8, entered order to sell at 22 5/16 one tick below and went flat. I like the volatility of this one, about 2 points today. Will be following your thoughts here closely and paying more attention to the price of gold. Crude weak today, need it over $15 to get the OSX plays going again. Good Trading Dave
