It did not matter how much they put into equities because they did not have the large number of buyers continuing to come into the market, thus less demand. They were one of the only nations to have fewer babys year after year during the baby boom cycle.

I don't think a bunch of boomers are going to loose their jobs. A few may have to find work in the service field but there will be jobs. Until there is a continuation of layoffs with no openings I will continue to be bullish in that respect.

Don't sell your generation short. It is the greatest force in the world right now.

Sorry to but in here........BUT,

You asked a lot of questions but provided no observations that might have served as answers in favor of the bias you intended to create with the rhetoric of your post. Yikes, sorry,..just an observation offered as constructive criticism.
