I did a bit of calculation as to how high the stock price can go on the basis of market dynamics, if only the right catalyst (read the right kind of investor) for TDFX appears.

Last I checked, the institutional ownership of TDFX was 27.4% down from ~45% and the short interest on TDFX was 2,296,585 down from ~3.1 Mil. This data is as of first and second week of September so it may have changed a bit, but not much. So of the 16M shares, about 8 are held by insiders, 4.3 by institutions, and 1 by CL, for a total of 13.3. This means there is only 2.7 million shares out there and 2.3 million of them have already been shorted. All we need is for TDFX shareholders to call their shares back, and even if half of them do so, the stock will nearly double

Let me know what you think.

Earlier, I called today a dull day. I might have been premature:

themushroom.com

FWIW, I've never heard of this site before and (hint, hint) there's no news of this on the "regular" sites (BluesNews, VoodooExtreme). Grains of salt are definately required... (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
