Allen,
If it is possible to format a Zip disk as a complete system boot disk, then why have some made such a big deal of the Norton recovery disk program? Is the Windows '9x formatting a single step operation, or do you have to install Windows directly onto the Zip disk? Can this be done with the format command from a DOS prompt, or is there a GUI way of doing this? I'm a computer nerd, too, but I wasn't aware that this was possible to do in a user friendly manner, and the comments about the Norton recovery disk have colored my assumptions. Also, why doesn't Iomega make a bigger deal of this capability? This is one area where the Zip has a big advantage over other media, they should make it easy to do and also make sure everyone knows it can be done as well as how to do it.
