Do you pro-Intel, anti-AMD folks really believe AMD is going to just vanish and give up all the marketshare it has gained? You folks seem to ignore the FACT that AMD has already taken a significant portion of Intel's retail marketshare.

Nowadays you say stuff like "K6-3 will not come out", "K6-3 will be delayed", "K6-3 sucks", or "K7 is never going to happen".
Didn't you say that in the beginning of the year when AMD was planning the release of the K6-2? Not only did you folks have to eat your words, but your precious Intel lost a lot, of money that is.
I mean, come on, AMD is for real now. Being stubborn is not going to help you.

Don't you think Intel is thinking of ways to counterattack the release of the K6-3 and K7? They are getting worried, and there is no denying that.

There is room for both AMD and Intel. I am not saying Intel sucks and AMD rules the world, I am just telling you guys to Face the Facts. AMD IS a competitor, and AMD will be a competitor.

And to you Paul: Can you say anything else other than "Where are those K7 benchmarks?"
What I can show you is the FACT that AMD has gained a significant share of the whole, not just sub $1000, retail PC market. Show ME some facts that would make ME cringe. And don't give me Old facts like "AMD had manufacturing problems in the past". Come on, you're a smart guy. Think of some. (You to yousef)

BTW, here is something to look at while you are thinking: amd.com
