The message was to the manipulators not the traders. Traders can still make money here.

I don't trade stock, but buy and sell Calls/Puts to serve short term needs. If you hedge well large loss of capital can be averted.

Sell some Puts out of money and buy some long term calls,

Before drop last few weeks selling a put had a large risk, today that risk is cut in half and has double the reward.
