Yes, I'm sure most of the shorting occurred at higher levels than this. In fact, it's possible that the shorts may be helping prop up the price right now. At these volumes, any significant short covering would move the stock up at least some.

But I certainly am not holding my breath waiting for a squeeze.

On the other hand, I don't think the shorts' position is going to get any better for a while.
