<OT: Golden Rule..again> <....sigh...> No, of course, Earl, I do not think I speak for everyone. That "everyone" refers to those people who profess the religions with Golden Rules. Check out the compendium that Les posted: fragrant.demon.co.uk And, as I pointed out, accepting the Golden Rule in principle doesn't mean you actually practice it. That was the point of what I intended as a jocular post. Of course, if you are an agnostic, an atheist, or, say, a Satanist, you do not have to feel obliged to pay even so much as lip service to the Golden Rule. But you might practice it anyway... jbe
