Ralph Acampora at Prudential said today that the DJIA could easily go over 8600 in short term, but he hasn't had a long term target number yet. he said he liked financial stocks right now.

it will be interesting to see how ibm, msft, asnd and emc will play out the next couple days. short term, my guess is intc, csco and dell still some up-side room to go from today's close. msft may see some down side pressure tomorrow p.m. and a sell-off wed.(daytraderonline rec short it if see over 107). not sure what amat will go after today's btb number. i saw some selling pressure when amat moved to 30. but after it past over 30 before close, it seems some buy panic(short covering?).

sold bt today(bought fri. before close)-- don't know what bt will say tomorrow.
