CIEN's only hope is to tie up with a player. Funny how technology leadership only makes a difference when you are in the lead. Once others get close (or like ATT promise to leapfrog with their 400GB) bundled products, pricing, distribution and service etc become deciding factors. As a sucessful independant player (with DWDM) they're history. Should be interesting!!
