I think you are wrong about MIRAGE "MIR". It is too late to short. Mir is gaining after a huge drop in price. I go to Las Vegas ofton and also am in the Travel Business and Las Vegas is one of the most popular destinations.
The Casino stocks have been in a slump but are now turning around.

Hi!!! <<Whatever October-phobia there is, goblin, ghost, monica, 1929, 1987 etc etc, I can sleep well with my strong stock holdings, especially Dell. Stocks which have taken terrible beatings will unfortunately come under more pressure this month>>

Gosh, must be getting old...remember everything but 1929....and my father reminds me of that often...
