This is correct.

Dragon Systems hopes to improve their recognition capability - as well as speed, and if so, this will lead to increased preference - and sales - of Katmai enabled processors.

That's the way the technology game works - better CPUs result in better Software which in turn sells more CPUs (of the better variety).

Katmai will be hyped a many will think they have to have one but like MMX...they will soon find out that unless they want to talk outloud to themselves they really didn't need it. The Katmai will be very popular in mental institutions where talking to walls etc. where this behavior is already very popular.
