Hello All, jeez Chris, looks like we should have held CIEN a bit longer(I agree)..Oh well, a 15% " bird in the hand" for a few hours investing ain't bad<g>..I see there is another PR "Tellabs chairman Michael Birck said in a CNBC television interview on Monday he would not rule out the possibility of reviving the deal." This should throw more fuel on the rumor fire...DD
PS: was tempted to buy it again yesterday..could have made a couple more %.......thinking the market may be straddling the proverbial fence at this point..which way will it fall?..after yesterday,I'm back in the money market with my funds..Saw definite weakness in the big tech leaders. There were good earnings reported after the close, IBM,MSFT etc.,will be interesting to see which way the Nasdaq moves... The trade deficit numbers sucked yesterday, and no one batted an eye...
