As I cannot seem to log on this morning, I will not be able to go and find a story. So I will write one. This story is in answer to a letter I received. "Mr. Story man, do fairy tales really come true?" Signed Gene... Well, Gene I was not sure about how to answer you. I thought about this question over and over again. Does a child who puts their tooth under a pillow and finds a quarter in its' place think that fairy tales come true? What about the wonder of Christmas morning and the joy and awe in a childs face. Did this fairy tale come true? Everyday, in every walk of life, we find things that make us feel good. The colors of Mother Nature in the fall. Did this fairy tale come true? Jack Frost laying a blanket of crisp white snow on the ground. Did this fairy tale come true? An old Grandmother stuck on a lonely road with a flat tire until someone comes along and changes it for her. Did her fairy tale come true? I have to say "YES" to your question Gene. If a persons heart is open, and their mind still has wonder in it. If a person can enjoy laughter and the bubbly feeling inside they get from a good belly laugh. If a person can look at a stranger and say to themselves, "That is a friend of mine that I just haven't met yet". Then fairy tales are coming true each and every day. But Gene, the funny thing about fairy tales. Everybody has their own fairy tales and only they can make them come true or not. You have to get your own fairy tales and then work to make them come true. Only you can do this for yourself. You cannot take someone else's fairy tales and make them come true for you, as it just does not work that way. So in closing, I wish you the very best of fairy tales and may they all come true!!!
