CTI News> Telekol Corp. Joins Microsoft's MCSP Alliance Program

October 23, 1998

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE) via NewsEdge Corporation -- Telekol Corporation, a leader in NT Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions, today announced it has joined the Microsoft Certified Solution Providers (MCSP) Alliance Program to promote its IntegraX computer telephony suite of business communication servers and software to MCSP channel organizations.

IntegraX, Telekol's unified messaging product, will be showcased at COMDEX, in Las Vegas, November 14-20 (Microsoft Partner Pavilion, Booth #L2036/Pod #C25), and at CT Expo, in Los Angeles, March 2-4, 1999 (Microsoft Partner Pavilion).

"We're pleased that Microsoft has asked us to join this industry-leading organization," stated Roy Barr, Director of Business Development at Telekol. "Our MCSP Alliance participation highlights the mission we embarked upon -- to develop and market open, software-based CTI solutions for the VAR channel. This opportunity enables VARs who are MCSPs to get significant discounts, free technical support, and so much more. They will be able to offer their customers affordable, scaleable, and open systems that bring together the best that telephones and data networks have to offer."

"More organizations are taking advantage of computer telephony each day and this represents an exciting new business opportunity that channel partners can address very well with Windows-based communications solutions," said Kevin Kean, Group Product Manager for Windows NT Communications at Microsoft Corp. "Telekol's new participation in Microsoft's MCSP Alliance should help expand MCSP channel partner awareness of Windows-based computer telephony opportunities, such as Telekol's unified messaging solutions for Exchange. "

IntegraX is a Windows NT Server-based communication solution, based on an open, modular and scalable platform with DCOM architecture. IntegraX has built-in voice mail and automated attendant. It offers ease of integration with most switches and PBX's supporting TAPI, Inband, SMDI and CSTA. In addition, IntegraX offers Internet unified messaging with audio streaming, text-to-speech, email-to-fax, fax server integration, desktop call control, PIM integration and IVR with ActiveX control and VB tools.

The Microsoft Certified Solution Provider (MCSP) Alliance is a Microsoft-sponsored affiliation of product and service companies that have been brought together for the benefit of MCSPs. MCSPs receive access to new products, gain awareness of expanded business opportunities, and receive enhanced value through specialized and discounted offers provided by MCSP Alliance participants.

MCSPs seeking more information on how to take advantage of the offers available through the MCSP Alliance can visit the private MCSP Online Web site: partnering.microsoft.com or send correspondence to alliance@microsoft.com.

Business Opportunity for MCSP Alliance Participants:

Currently there are more than 18,000 channel organizations in the Microsoft Certified Solution Provider program. The MCSP Alliance provides ISVs, IHVs, and service providers a unique opportunity to reach out to these organizations and further engage with them around IntegraX and the emerging market for CTI solutions based on Microsoft Windows NT.
