It's a river. It's a property. Here's a couple of things that will help you Jon. From the SUNR website:

<On July 31, 1998 Rio Del Sol entered into a letter of intent
with the owners of another prospect near the Challana river in the Tipuani Gold
Mining District. This prospect is currently in production. The Sun River Group
expects to complete an exploration project on the prospect during continued
production. Rio Del Sol will seek to acquire mineral rights to other dry land
prospects in the Tipuani district and elsewhere in Bolivia. Rio Del Sol will hold any
rights the Sun River Group may have to dry land prospects and Aluvion will not
have any interest in them. In the event that mineral rights to a dry land prospect are
acquired by Aluvion, for example as a consequence of Aluvion's acquiring a
dredging prospect, the rights to the dry land prospect will be assigned to Rio Del
Sol. >>

From what I understand: Guido Paravicini, while in the US this past summer, mentioned three properties in Bolivia that have the potential to
house 200M ozs. or more of gold. One of them is Golden Eagle's Cangalli. Another is along the Peruvian border but is in a complete state of
lawlessness with rival local mafia-like groups mining the gold. An army would have to go in to try and establish order and it would be a
formidable task. The remaining property is the Challana. Sun River has apparently signed a letter of intent on this property and the final
papers are supposedly drawn up. Terry Turner of Golden Eagle reportedly twice approached the coop in question in the past couple of
months to try and secure the property for GE. When told that Sun River already had the property and there's no way they would work with
certain individuals associated with GE, GE was outraged at the thought of SUNR getting this property. That's when mention of the
non-compete with previous employees came up. However, I've been told the employment contracts were broken by GE due to failure to pay
the ex-employees and in addition, the non-compete clause states the ex-GE employees cannot work in the mining industry in either North or
South America. That restriction is apparently unenforceable in court because of the two continents it covers which is deemed unreasonable.
Assuming the above is true (until the rumors become fact in an 8K noone can say for sure) Sun River expects to have the property in
production within three months of a signing and proving reserves as they produce.

Jon - a gold rich area of Bolivia that SUNR happens to have a binding letter of intent to mine.

This stock is not trading on the CIMA Trip.

MINE is and always has been a speculative stock play. Nothing has changed.

Bolivia is the new frontier for gold mining and those who speculate in its future. When El Nino hit South America the price of MINE dipped to a nickel because speculators lost patience as it appeared production/verification/earnings would be delayed. Did that weather phenomenon affect the amount of gold in the ground?

Some players have a short term horizon, and express their impatience through trading activity, and fold at the first sign of doubt. .
Some put their money on the table and wait for the last card to be dealt.

The game is alive. Many high rollers have suspended operations in one of the richest areas of mineral wealth in the free world.
But they have not pulled out. They are waiting for favorable market conditions to jump back in with real capitol.

GE is a player in this game. SunRiver is a player.

Are you?

Before the CIMA trip, if counted myself among the mushrooms: Living in the darkness, the heavy shadows of doubt, the vacuum of no news, listening to the the fearsome sounds of the knashing of shareholders teeth in the night.

What has changed here? Now we know that Behre Dolbear has indeed arrived upon the scene, to complete and satisfy the demands of the SEC regarding Guido's report. GE Bolivia has sent completed financials to Denver to be
filed shortly. Progress is being made. The mushrooms are finally being fed.

But that does not necessarily transfer into stock price movement. Remember, these threads represent a very tiny fraction of the money moving in and out of MINE. And the big movers and players do not base their decisions on what is said or not said here.

Some guess or predict the outcome of the BD report. They are much bolder (or more foolish) than I. But basing your buy/sell decision on that speculation is in MHO a big mistake.

You shareholders have waited this long. Does it not seem reasonable to wait to read the financials and BD report b4 you drop out of the game or raise?

But, then, if you do not have the stomach to wait for the cards to be shown, maybe you should move to another table.

That is your choice. Make the decision.

CIMA fund investors sponsered this trip to gather information to help in making investor decisions.
The report to them, (which is not an easy one to compile) should aid in reaching an intelligent, or balanced conclusion.

But there will be no buy/sell rec or even hint as what to do here. And consider this, there is no hurry. The facts/news that will move this stock can only be forthcoming from GE Int'l. and its respective filings and report from BD. We have
some time between now and then.

There are a couple of things regarding the trp that are important to mention here.

One: When we arrived at the GE hq, Mac Dolozier presented us with a letter from CEO Turner welcoming us to Bolivia and to the Corporate HQ of GE. The offices were quite impressive by any standards, especially Bolivian
Since we were there on a holiday, the office was not exactly humming, but it was clear that
the many aspects of research, study, politicking,
and general professional corperate functions
was being carried out there.
Fund contributors should expect visual documentation of such.

The caveat was that all parties expected to attend from GE were not there. When I ascertain the reason for it, it will be posted here.

Second: This trip would not have occurred, or at least been nearly as productive, without the time, effort, generosity, hard work, and seriousness of the principals of SunRiver from both sides of the equator.

Tomorrow I hope to post my appreciation on the SUNR thread. But in closing, i would ask this:
Put personal prejudices and animosities to individuals who have all worked towards developing the richness and the resources of the Tipuani aside.

Lets all get down to business here. The petty charges and rumor mongering related to investors, officers, 'insiders' of either GE or SUNR will get you nowhere. Partly because it is 99% BS, and partly because it is highly unprofessional and immature.

And, I also (in advance) thank everyone here for your patience with my long windedness, and the wait for the complete report to come with sights, sounds, and yes, thrills of the trek to Incan Gold.

Later....Bill
