Kahuna,

I agree that MSFT will very likely be around for the long haul and they will continue to earn a fair profit. But I think the glory day of countless MSFT stock splits and ever flying stock prices will not be a sure thing as many investors have come to expect from them.

MSFT's stock cult status (for a lack of a better word) will soon come to an end. It will become a decent blue chip stock with modest earnings and stock appreciation.
