Since it seems that Yousef's sole purpose in life is to waste his time
meddling in other peoples investment decisions (the same could be said of his followers e.g. Engel etc.), someone needs to offset his propaganda . Regarding increasing x86 performance I disagree that nothing much can be done . Greater parallelism is needed , in K6's case they achieved this to some degree by including more execution units . In the case of DECs Alpha it has many 128 bit paths as opposed to X86's 64 bit . With the .25 and below greater emphasis could be placed in moving more data in parallel , i.e. copying Alpha's methods
