The HP deal convinced me that sndk may have a very
impoortant product. Usually I prefer companies
that are in the business of creating a stream of
new products [eg ATMI] rather than depend upon a
single product, but I find the notion of a universal
memory card very compelling and so you can now count
me in.

Regarding dilution and stock options, I believe that a few years ago a change was required under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) that companies are required to report earnings per share on a fully diluted basis, which means calculating the total number of shares by including those shares available via stock options. Accordingly, until a company adopts new stock option plans (which I assume is required to be reported to the SEC), the total number of shares do not increase once an insider exercises his/her options. However, I am not an accountant, so this is an opinion based on recollection.

Ausdauer. no one would be complaining about dilution if SNDK shares were at $30+. Not if earnings were RISING instead if falling. But the simple fact is that SNDK would have performed better by firing everyone and hiring two accountants and a collection agency.

When you invent something, protect it with patents, market it successfully, and become the #1 vendor in your field ... and after all that, your prospects worsen ... it's probably time to reconsider things.

In this case, maybe the local "Y" has openings for previously employed SNDK managers and staff. Then SNDK shareholders could hire two accountants and a collection agency. And the dilution would finally come to an end.
