Sun, regarding CREAF purchase, i was not suggesting that they looked at their investment and said, "Woohoo! We're up! Buy more!" I am saying that they had a goal, buy 1M shares, and to spread the buys out over time. They bought a lot more than average (you do the statistical analysis :) the day the earnings were announced and the stock fell- which makes sense- and they bought a lot more than average on a day where it had risen 50% in a short period of time. I don't think the rise in price had anything to do with total shares bought or anything, just trying to pick out a *possible* reason why they bought so many shares that day. My reasoning was that they had seen the stock move solidly higher, and decided to buy the 1M shares a little more quickly, before it went even higher. A minor observation of no real importance, except that they decided to buy and buy, rather than hold out for a lower price; that they felt that NOW (each day) was a relatively good time to buy- that it would go higher.
