Freddie,

Thanks for the "information". By the way, don't even think any of my sarcasm is in any way directed at you.

From the Oct 16 press release, Randy said:

"The Myriad acquisition was an important addition to the company and has consequently opened the door to many other opportunities. We will, however, take a one-time charge-off in 1998 for the cost of acquiring Myriad, but our goal is to be near break-even for this year with very realistic expectations for a profitable 1999."

Per your recent post, Randy told you:

"Firamada is taking the entire hit for Myriad in '98. 4.5 million will show up in liabilities for 1998. They want a clean start for 1999."

"Also, '98 will show a loss."

These two statements tell me that if there is a loss for 1998, it better be damned small or the highlighted statement in the %$#&@ news release quoted above is another %$#@& lie!!!!!

I guess we'll see....still on the dark side. Darth Vader now definitely has my complete allegiance and it's all FAMH's fault! I used to be a trusting soul, but now I sit at home with the curtains drawn...never to see the light again...and it's all FAMH's fault!

Dave

FF: Re: <<Pertaining to the Myriad acquisition.....>>

Ahhhhhhhh! What a difference 6 months makes. Does anyone else notice a n ever so slight difference of fact? How many shoes are there left to drop?

April 17, 1998

"Per terms of the Acquisition Agreement, Firamada is scheduled to make an initial $1 Million payment to the Internal Revenue Service's San Diego office next week. This payment will be followed by sixty (60) monthly installments of approximately $59,500. The aggregate of these payments will total $4.5 Million."

October 20, 1998

"Pertaining to the Myriad acquisition. Firamada cut a straight deal with the IRS for 4.5 million. No additional interest or penalties are accruing. There ia a balloon payment of around 3 million in June'99."

I'm wondering where the extra four(4)years went?
