I don't know for a fact, but it sounds like Craig has some stock options expiring now or in the near future. There is no buy and hold benefit if they are "non-qualified" options since he would be subject to regular income tax on any gain (Which in the case of expiring intel options it's over $55M. People should not obsess over insiders selling expiring stock options. His only other choices would be to come up with $25M in cash to pay uncle sam and the states, or he could let the option expire. I vote for same day sale and go back to work driving the value of intel up, up, up.

(NewsTraders) -- Intel Corp. (INTC) director Leslie Vadasz registered to sell 140,000 share of common stock on October 29 with a market value of about $12.6 million, according to a Form 144 released late Friday by the SEC.

Vadasz owned 54,360 shares directly and 1,302,567 shares indirectly as of 23-Jun-98.
