Actually I have had that experience a couple of times. Usually the best tactic is to contact the other interested parties by private message and start a new thread. Sometimes the 'racoon' finds you but more times than not you are left in peace.

Ah, you are not telling the truth, one of your greatest characteristics. Not only didn't I pick fights in the thread, I posted a single note in the thread, addressed to someone else, in which I disagreed with one premise and proposed another. For that I was attacked by several people, including yourself. YOU destroyed the thread by deciding that you would run me out of it. You and your pals set a goal that you would use the thread to post abusive remarks to me, to try to get me to leave. That, of course, destroyed the nature of the thread. When you failed to get me to leave, you threatened to leave. --Linda
