Mohan Back in 1989 I read a book by Dr. Ravi Batra "Coming Depression of the 1990's". In that he claimed that India will be one of the fastest growing economies. And there was some reference to India overtaking (dont remember whom) by year 2005. Will have to go back and re-read it again. BTW, everything that he predicted came TRUE. And anyone that followed his advice and went to cash in 1990 would have come out like a bandit by buying everything at 50 to 90% discount in 1991-93. I tried to but unfortunately was too busy with other things and implementation wise didnt take the projections as seriously as I should have. ratan
