In MOT's case past performance is - sadly for MOT - very indicative of future results. MOT has gathered a well earned reputation for shooting itself in the foot in the past few years. The MOT CDMA phone you describe is just the latest example. Chaz

However, I think that was MOT's first generation CDMA phone which (most likely) was a steep learning curve for them. As time progresses, I would venture to say that MOT's phones will get smaller, lighter, etc. However, so will the competition...
