I have to defend Linda. Over on the AAPL thread, she is occasionally off-topic and burns a few messages a day thanking people, but I've never seen her be mean or inflammatory. From my experience, she's trying to learn from those around her and asking questions. Hardest thing for me is I keep thinking she'll say "tawk amongst ya'selves" (Linda Richman/Mike Myers/SNL). Dirk

What nonsense. Yes, the point about the bear flag WAS correct, and no one addressed my point. It wasn't my motive to disrupt the thread! I introduced the concept and after that an organized campaign was made, to bait me. Abusive posts were made to me by people who were not participants in that thread; they were imported for the "fight" against me. No one so much as tried to discuss the topic of the thread. You were all just enjoying the free-for-all. Your version of what happened there is false. Now, anyone reading it through will see that, even though many of your pals notes were removed for SI violations, so the complete record isn't there. People should indeed read through the thread, not take your word for what occurred there. --Linda
