I picked up my first RNTK on 8 August, 1998 @ 1 7/32 and have bought it all the way up to 1 3/8. (Yes, I had the sense to average down since then.) I've been reading every single darn message on this board since 1 August. Okay, so he's been wrong. So were the people on MTEI. But bunches of longs getting into a screaming hissy fit every time Charles gives a bear call is a definite contrarian indicator for me. From my experience, it's usually the longs screaming the loudest right before the boat goes down. He has NOT pulled food off my table, nor have I seen any children starve because of something he posted on SI. Let's get back to reality. If anybody feels a real need to flame somebody, PM me with your worst. I really don't mind, and if it helps keep the thread neat, tidy and ON TOPIC, I'm all for it.

Now wait a minute - Charles said the deal was not going to happen until '99 - a big difference than not at all (after all, '99 is only 72 or so days away). Plus, he also said that the stock would be at 75 cents, while the rest of the thread was expecting $3,$5 and then some. In other words, he was actually RIGHT on the price (the only thing that really matters to me, personally), and the rest of the thread was dead wrong. I've been on this BBS for a while now, and I think the best part about it is that there are people who actually have different viewpoints than my own. It is nice to see the contrarian's point of view. JMO, MikeJ
