Martin,

Thanks for getting the release on the board here. They think they can ultimately get 500 bopd out of this well once its frac'ed. From now until the foreseeable future they will be drilling for gas. Prior to this well they were producing about 90% gas.

This is gonna be so cool. For at least the next year, Benz will be able to title its press release that announces quarterly results as follows:

BENZ ENERGY REPORTS RECORD QUARTERLY PRODUCTION, CASH FLOW

<g>

Hopefully the time gap between this Wausau well and the next Oakvale Dome well will not be too long and they can keep up the momentum.

Martin,

Is Benz still on your radar screen? The stock did another little pop again last week and something makes me think this one may be for real. If you were ever considering getting into this you may want to be at the trigger when they announce their share consolidation and switch to a US listing next week.

This news will likely cause a dip in price but from there on its all good news. I talk with the company regularly and I've been assured that they would not do a rollback unless there was some significant good news that would either coincide with or closely follow the rollback announcement.

BTW, for the multitude of Benz fans out there, there's an interesting discussion of Benz going on in the Canadian O&G Companies thread. See, e.g., my latest propaganda at:

3rd Quarter #'s are on Sedar and while they will not bring the house down they still show some healthy sequential quarterly growth.

Hopefully the IR guy Mark will heed my suggestions and include in the release:

1) What the daily production rate was @ quarter-end;

and 2) How much of their production is hedged and at what average price and for how long out.
