Mike, re JoeKernelBrain

Would you believe this guy has a masters from MIT in molecular biology !

cnbc.com

My guess would have been Podunk State with a triple major in beer-drinking, girl-chasing and hair-combing. You have to admit Joe does not flaunt his intelligence. <gg>

Mike, bond market is reacting nicely to Fed rate cut. It is tanking. Down over 2% at the last check (yield up over 10 basis points.) Do you smell something here, as I do? Or this is just another "asset" shift form less speculative bond to highly speculative equities, as Joe BullShitglia would perhaps say? -g- How likely is a run on the US dollar, like the one on Canadian $ we saw this year?

Well, that is what they are saying:
<<U.S. Treasuries touch new lows, more fund sales
*U.S. Treasuries plumb new lows, more hedge fund selling seen. *Big asset allocation trade out of bonds into stocks -traders. *Dow briefly up 185, spurring Treas sales. Then pulls back. *Liquidity situation said improving, still some price gaps. *Technicals blamed for steep dip, was long fall to support. >>
