LG,
But I thought MM were very nice, sweet people who help the small guy get the best bid and ask... No?... You mean they may actually have an agenda? <vbg>

I also got a good laugh.
What's your opinion on EGGS?

TIA,
Rommy

Sit on a trading desk for 10+ years, then popoff. MM's can "manipulate" stocks which are fairly illiquid, but when you figure that to do investment banking deals, one of the selling points to a prospective company is what market share you have in the trading of their existing recommendations.

Example: Say your Montgomery do you think your going to let Merrill just go in the box and screw around with Bids and Asks indiscriminately, that is unless you have no interest in making a 7% commission/inv banking fee? Guess again bright guy.

So unless you have order flow in which to shoot against, MM's are simply trying to get in the way of a "customer order." Now go back to sleep and let us traders trade.
