it's definitely slow and it's definitely not due to connectivity problems or wimpy PCs on the client side. eBay's server farm is getting hammered. Both their WWW servers and esp. their database servers are getting munched.

Definitely not my computer's problem. All other web access is running
at normal speeds. Ebay as of right now (5:30 PM EST) is completely
useless. Things have to change soon or they are going to lose serious business.

Certainly NOT attractive to newbies and stock holders
visiting for the first time.
