Scott: That is fantastic, there are close to 1400 or 1500 executives attending the meeting in Chicago perhaps only 15 of them are'hot-shot' executives the rest being your garden variety but that is ok.I know Dell will do a good job at the meeting,if you go keep us posted and more importantly let me know how the lady from DELL is.(just kiddin')

Hope you succeed in selling some DELL PCs to your company.

<<<<Last night she also shared that DELL is currently selling 700 servers/day and quickly ramping up to sell 4000 servers/day. The server business is exceeding their HIGH expectations.>>>
A friend of my daughter-in-laws sister works in NY, and told me that Kemble's shirt factory is working three shifts and is planning on secretly opening a new factory adjacent to the Dell store in Austin in January. (boy, you don't catch me passing on any unsubstantiated rumors)(g)
Thought for today:
Dell is cheap, buy a leap
Plcm is strong, you cant go wrong

Scott -
DELL is currently selling 700 servers/day and quickly ramping up to sell 4000 servers/day.
Those numbers can't possibly be right. Their 2Q run rate had to be closer to 200 a day. 4000 a day would give them half of the server market. Current data says they are at about 3%.

Put it another way - 4000 servers a day generates revenue of over $14 billion, all by itself. does that seem reasonable for Dell? I'm sure we all have faith, but there are limits...

Something seriously wrong with those numbers.
