donald: I hesitate to give options advise...since I don't know anything about them...to speak of! I don't trade options.

However, PVN would have been a good short for today. Chart it and check it out. May have some more downside, but be nimble. Also, EGGS is dumping as I type.

Why equity puts at this time? And why MER? Any thoughts on the sector pulling back?

Don,

Since you follow the index's (OEX, SPX and DOW) take your knowledge and analysis on those indexes and trade them via puts and calls.

I would think that with all the TA work you do for yourself and share here, making option plays based on your TA would be a natural.

The rest of us are doing it, so why shouldn't you!! <g>
