Also, all the BANKS did well. This is a very
good sign. I think it was just a lot of edgy people
taking profits. If there was real trouble the BANKS
would be the first to drop.

Now that I think of it, maybe the market was rallying on
expectations of MSFT having decent earnings? So, they sold
before the news? Anyways, the rate-cut theory will hold
this market together one way or another, just might be a bit
bumpy hear and there.

Why is CSCO up strong on the strong results from IBM and MSFT?

We probably get a gap up in the techs on the reports and continue the selling. I just bought some shares this morning so we are sure to keep going lower.. It's just my luck. 3Com gets no respect and it's not getting better. The spike in the afternoon on CNBC news was an aberration. The bear growls, it is not over. This was a bear market rally, not really my opinion, but let's get really negative here. I will not use the "HOPE" or "think" words. We are due some profit-taking, so here it is. If it goes lower than previous supports, well it isn't strong enough. 3Com needs to make a statement that is believable. It is a strong company and is undervalued and for the long-haulers, there is money to be made at these levels. For anyone else, we are just gambling.

Good luck and look for the stock to be flat to lower. NOT!
