From "misspent youth" boozing it up to "recovering alcoholic" is quite a leap. And yeah, you are probably are wrong. Hey at least he admits to "boozing it up", and it doesn't appear he equivocates on the issue of swallowing. .....bp

Jimmy Carter had real bouts with mental illness and I believe was hospitalized. Spent a year in depression.

His wife recently wrote a book about the mental illness in their family. Amy must figure prominently.
