The Globe and Mail reports in a Stock In The News...

Some gold bugs believe the stock will continue to shine, while more bearish analysts are encouraging investors to take profits. Research Capital analyst Manford Mallory says that gold stocks moved so high that he has placed a long-term "hold" on the group, while advising investors to take profits in the short term. He says that typically, the only way to make money has proved to be trading on the ups and downs of gold prices.

NB: That might explain some of the large cross trades I seen earlier today.
