Its amazing how many new posters there are that show up on this board when a good news story shows up, but most are not here to discuss the other issues. This board is about MSFT as an investment. Repetitive postings that Novell is great, Microsoft sucks, yada yada yada, from a self professed penny stock speculator are not exactly on topic. One minute you say that MSFT's products are inferior and bound to lose in the marketplace and the next you are applauding the governments attempt to interfere with the same said market. Stellar earnings from MSFT have been delivered consistently over the years and the stock price and P/E reflect this. Run a five or ten year comparison chart with your beloved NOVL for a dose of reality. BTW, I must assume that you are currently unemployed with all the time you spend posting here. LOL!!! - JB

Some of us were posters here 1-2 years before you were an SI member. I/we don't need to follow msft moment by moment, but we may stop by when there is news to see if anything interesting is going on.

I feel the same way about you and your techno-weenie postings. Somewhere along the way, you have gotten the idea that this board was set up as a means for you to display your self-appreciating knowledge about IT systems and software. Wrong. Many INVESTORS, who recognize your biased posts for what they are, are interested in MSFT's ability to continually meet or beat earnings estimates. The other issues that you mention are the posts that are just a filler in between earnings releases. They have their place on the board, especially if there might be an impact on earnings. If not, they are mere ramblings to the us non-IT literate investors. Since you prefer to invest in Canadian penny stocks (you readers stop laughing), I found an investing opportunity just for you. exchange2000.com No need to thank me.
