I have been a JD subscriber for about 3 years and have done very well with his picks. I do agree that he underestimated the seriousness of the Asian crisis and the impact on many of his recommendations. I got out but not early enough. My mistake. I also disagree with his last newsletter about stop loss orders. I should have had them in place on my financials as they were crushed unmercifully. Again my own shortcoming. We have to take personal responsiblity for our investment and timing decisions.
I hope we could begin following his recommendations and maybe making some profits rather than kicking JD around. Anyone has a right to cancel and criticize but lets spend some constructive time on his picks.
For example; Twice I have traded CSRE and made money. JD has it as a hold with a sell above $6. Has anyone noticed all the insider buying in CSRE? All buys from several different insiders many of which look like start up positions. I doubt we will ever see 20 but something looks like its going on. Any opinions?
