CNBC now reporting that Kumar/Piper Jaffray lowered their estimates for IT spending in 1999, but CNBC did not specifically mention that PJ/Kumar had made a comment about Dell....Dell officially says sales are "strong" and see no slowdown....Dell up 1 3/4 in afterhours..

Still trying to find out what he REALLY said!

Ian: Screw CNBC,bastards, Piper Jaffray just denied it too.
Some SOB/s on Wall Street just did this on account of either he/they are short or wanted to load up before earnings.
