Ike:

Thanks for your response! Your critics may be many, but your results speak for themselves! An important lesson I've learned in my few years investing is the ability to adapt to the changing conditions of the market. Hence, my disgust with the myopic stance of many of the bears.
They can ridicule you as they like, but certainly your bottom line shows the true picture!

Sure, timing can never be a perfect science. However, the ability to look at issues with an open mind, is the mark of true professional in my view. As I recall, Favors and his crew were 50% short at 7600, and were calling for 6400 minimum this month! Well, I hasten to say that his intervals were very costly to those who followed! Who knows, maybe he will be correct very soon. But one can not discount that you called for this rally with blood running everywhere! I know, I jumped in a bit prematurely but was long from the bottom. Your wisdom, at that crossroads, proved very rewarding to all who followed.

I recall another astute trader HPEACE! He was chastised to the point of leaving SI permanently! In my opinion, he was second only to you in his picture of the market. I'm glad you take pride in your conquest of the market! Those who belabor you seem only to be covetous of your undistorted opinion of the world! Looking forward to your commentary in the days and weeks ahead!

Sincerely,

Kevin Richard

>>This previous letter will not make you a very popular guy on Si-- I am the most frowned and abused guy- I take it very nicely because the only way to get back at my critics is to confound them with my ability. <<

Yea but admit it, you just love ribbing them to hell :>

And I got to admit, the last few days I been reading everywhere that we have hit a bottom, But the prices now are like 50% higher than the actual bottoms, So... Not much upside left without the risk to start buying now.

RUT and Composite are sitting on the 50days MA trying to take out the resistance. I think aided by earnings they would do it, we need two solid closes above this along with 1080 on SPZ that should bring DOW 9600 to surrender but undoubtedly the key to new levels is held by borad market and a broad market rally is unique due to new picture of low interest rates with a potential of .77% by Jan next year, the sentiment alone will push the small cap market higher, as market works on future projections this can be a very interesting development. It was nice to hear yesterday that most of the CNBC guys were talking about wrong and highly exaggerated assessment of global situation, they think that last two months volatility is nearly behind us but were we not talking the smae script all along.
