Tony. Re: Anybody smart enough to have bought EMC?

I was smart enough to have bought it but then was dumb enough to have sold it in the high 40's. I got in in the low 30's. Once it got into the 40's it just treaded water and then started to go down. So I sold. It went to the high 50's in short order after that and then fell back into the mid 40's a cpl of weeks ago. With the market downturn I was too timid to pick it up again. Big mistake. I hope you bought it. I may have made the same mistake with EMC as I did way back when with Dell. But at least I still have some Dell. If we get another downturn, I will buy EMC again. Well, so much for my EMC history. gg.

I do believe that Intel, Dell, CPQ, EMC and Csco are keepers in the tech sector. Nice charts on those 3 tech stocks.

In the networking sector I am eyeing COMS again. I am beginning to believe that COMS will not be independent for long. Something is going on. Insiders are not moving one way or the other on their stock holdings.

I was not going to go on again tonight but decided to check out a cpl of stocks including COMS.

Funny thing with that Dell. I think analysts should be called to the carpet when they make unsubstantiated remarks about a specific company.

Yes, I noticed that the other thread is slow also. That reminds me about that sale and your answer. I thought Barrett was selling shares and not options. And even if it was options that he exercised and then sold the shares, that amount sold will take care of his taxes plus a house like B.G. Hm. I remember last time around one of those officers sold big how Intel tanked shortly. Are you sure that suit is benign?

Forgot about IBM. Looks like the growth is in the service sector.

Techs in after hours must be doing well. Look at the NAZ 100.
