Paul,

The silence may well be a case of shell shock. After watching my position continue to slide towards oblivion, it is getting increasingly difficult to remain optimistic. The lesson that I am taking home from this experience is to listen to what the market is saying - not fight it.

Who knows, perhaps one day there will be something to cheer about.

I did send you an e-mail, indicated that I was on a course, and that I sold 2/3 of my position.

Any further attempt at positive spins by IR at this point in time will lack extreme credibility.

This company is in a rebuilding mode and that is now a definite fact.

Martin

For all the HUM bears, I would like you to note that HUM has owners equity of $180M US which is about $12 US / share. This is something good to focus on.

It looked like the small individual traders were bailing out today and they sure have lost their focus.

Does anybody know what the short-term investments of 110,300US is?.
Plus cash of $27,817USD. If the selling keeps up the share price is definitely coming close to the cash on hand plus short term investment value. I don't think I have ever seen a stock drop in value below the cash on hand.

Management must be going crazy with the free fall in price. If they don't go after a company very soon I think they will be a buy out target themselves. Lets see you say $12/share in equity.
On the NASDAQ it closed at $15.75. All the buyout company needs is a few 100 Mil and it would be a done deal.

Does anybody know if Hum has a poison pill in place?
